Hey guys. Listen up. This is my third Cussler Novel. My first was so long ago I can’t remember much about it --- just so much pap for the action starved brain. Everybody wants pap every now and then, right? But within a couple of weeks now, this is my third Cussler novel. It could best be summed up in that memorable quote from one of those two guys on the discovery channel: “Let’s blow something up”. ‘Cause that’s what happens in a novel that bristles with AK-47s, RPGs, M-4As, M-16s, Glocks and Uzis, FN-FALs. And that’s just the half of it. The men in this novel are REAL MEN sculpted out of titanium --- they literally defy death. And the women, one or two in the novel, are almost as though. There’s neither love nor sex nor any of that yucky stuff --- the most we get is a chaste peck on the cheek about two pages from the end of the book. These guys don’t have time for any of that sort of stuff --- they’re too busy saving the world from the antics of a wide-eyed, unbelievably wealthy eco-terrorist who figures he can get the world to pay attention to the planet’s ecological mess by creating a super hurricane and spinning it to towards the American coast. But even this challenge is no problem for the Corporation and its feisty collection of superheroes --- it’s the kind of assignment they can knock off before morning coffee-break. Is it a good read you say guys? Oh yea. Would it make a good action game? Yea. It would probably blow up your Blackberry for a grand finale. So when are they gonna turn this into an action movie?
