Can't get enough of this author. After I finished the Sirantha Jax series, I plowed through the Dread Queen series. I had to force myself to move on to another author when the SPL options ran dry. I always love a strong female character, cutting my teeth on Anne McCaffrey's Killashandra Ree as a youth. Ann Aguirre does an exemplary job with characterization...they're real, they're fallible, and you would love to have these people in your life.
