Anna, a newly qualified interior designer, decides to risk everything on buying a tiny but adorable cottage so she can renovate it, sell it, and prove to her family that she can earn her own living. But the cottage interior isn’t the only obstacle she has to face; the other one is the arrival of Rob Hunter who puts up more obstacles than the Grand National.

But just as Anna's starting to believe she's found the perfect idyll, the good-looking yet impossible Rob Hunter arrives on the scene, putting up more obstacles than the Grand National.

Adorable, sweet read. Likeable characters. Nice setting and interesting backdrop of the profession of interior design, shown as an under-appreciated occupation somewhere between architecture and interior decorating. I liked that older homes are fixed up and appreciated. I also loved the animal rescue angle, of greyhounds. Having read a few works by this author, one or two themes are similar, but this book takes you down a completely new path. Looking forward to more by this author!

I can't say enough good things about this author! I love her books, the characters, the way she writes (in "English" - she's British) and the story lines. Very cute and funny stories with happy endings! A wonderful frivilous book that keeps your attention and is a page turner. I highly recommend this book and all her others! I haven't read one I didn't like yet! I plan to read every one of her books!
