An epic story of anger unbound! Exiled by a group of Marvel "heroes" to the savage alien planet of Sakaar, the Hulk raged, bled, and conquered through the pages of last year's "Planet Hulk" epic, rising from slave to gladiator to king. Now the Hulk returns to Earth to wreak his terrible vengeance on Iron Man, Reed Richards, Dr. Strange, Black Bolt - and anyone else who gets in the way! Stronger than ever, accompanied by his monstrous Warbound gladiator allies, and possessed by the fiercest and purest rage imaginable, the Hulk may just tear this stupid planet in half!

One of only a handful of good crossover big events from Marvel in the last few years- Chaos War and Shadowland being the other two. The Hulk and his surviving comrades come to Earth looking for payback after the events of Planet Hulk, and four heroes who exiled the Hulk in the first place are on their target list. Other heroes? Merely in their way. The story is written well by Pak, who has a good partner in Romita for art, with everyone involved completely in character. It's a pity that Marvel doesn't always operate like this. Unfortunately when this crossover was finished, the character got turned over to Jeph Loeb, a writer who made a cataclysmic mess of everything, but that doesn't take away from just how good this was.
