There are many really good poems in this little selection, my two favourite being 'Jonathan, O Jonathan' and 'A Story'. Many of the works are interesting in the use of words in the first third of the selection, and, in the last third of so of the selection, although mush less diverse in vocabulary, much more ... odd (?) in the uses of points of view .
Sometimes some of the most interesting things one reads is in the notes: and here I read that she wrote about 450 poems in a poetry writing life that spanned about fifty years, so, one can conclude that she wrote less than ten poems per year.
