As always, I enjoyed the characters Roberts created and since she's a master at developing relationships I wanted to be friends with everyone in town. Xander was so charming and confident and just enough cocky to be appealing without becoming annoying or a jerk. He was the perfect personality to counter Naomi who is very set in her ways.

Nora Roberts once again tells us a suspenseful tail that keeps you hooked. The romance as usual was a perfect blend of people meant for each other. You will enjoy this one.

This was a good suspense novel about a young girl who witnesses horrific things and still manages to turn her life around and find love and career.

I enjoyed this book by Nora Roberts. I like her light romance and mystery combinations. If you don't want anything too heavy and are looking for a fast read, I would recommend it.

It was good at first, but went downhill fast... In the end, I couldn't continue this. I got so sick of reading about the paint color choices for the walls, furniture, landscaping--like seriously, where is the evil guy already?!! There was just way too much emphasis on Naomi's home renovation and not enough "suspense," which is nonexistent since I already figured out the villain from the very beginning. Major disappointment.

The beginning of the book was bang on and the whole investigation process was pretty solid as well. I just feel that it was dragged on a little too much, and that the identity of the serial killer was a major let down. I was hoping for a stronger connection of 'the obsessor' with Naomi. In addition, despite Roberts writing being wonerful for the most part, there was still this disconnection that I had also felt with her as J.D. Robb in her In Death series.

Good story. A little mystery mixed with a little romance. Fun read.

An excellent read. The main character survived horrendous trauma, was saved by an estranged family member and built a tight family unit.

She moved around a lot as an adult to escape people finding out who she was until she found a place she could call home and started to build a life.

When echoes from the past show up in her new town she finds a support system to get through it one she'd never known outside her family and how the story plays out will; of course, surprise you.

This was a great read. Believable, like it was pulled from the headlines to some extent. Suspense, great characters and you really felt like you were part of the story. This is the best Nora Roberts book that I have read thus far.
