"The Strange Woman", 1946, stars one of Hollywood's most beautiful woman, Hedy Lamarr. The Austrian actress is very good as the beautiful girl who was not only amoral but probably psychopathic also. Whoever she wanted she got. Whoever got in her way she got rid of. No tears for her. This is the woman with all the right curves and looks to turn the head of the Apostles, the Popes. She could turn San Francisco straight overnight. In real life Hedy Lamarr was almost as smart as beautiful. She patented and composer George Antheil developed a radio guidance system for Allied torpedos that was very effective against the Axis powers. In 1966 and in 1991 she was twice arrested for shoplifting.
