Shiller lays out some really innovative economic ideas that could spur innovation in nearly all professional pursuits from the arts to cutting edge medical research and new business innovation. It would probably help to have read Shiller's own Irrational Exuberance and have a basic grounding in macro economics but isn't absolutely necessary.
