Dr. Leaf explains the brain in an easily understood format. Each chapter contains a summary, which is a helpful reference as you move forward. I love how she ties Biblical passages to scientific fact. As a firm believer in God, I was happy to find a book on neuroscience that ties spirituality and science. The only drawback to the book was that I wished she had self-help activities throughout the chapters: instead the "switching on your brain" is reserved for,the final chapters.
