this is the 9th book in this series. i was worried that reading them out of order would mess up the continuity, but it dosent. Clare is back and this time she brought fire fighters with her. there is an arsonist running the streets of new york burning up coffee shops and putting firefighters at risk. this time we get to solve at least three mysteries all at the same time. and we get food and coffee recipes too. mike, matt, madame are all there to help clare along as she does a better job at solving crimes than the nypd

Easy to read and light story line. Love the recipes and the info on coffee, you can almost smell it brewing! Satisfying book to curl up with!

Loved this installment of the Coffeehouse Mystery series! Learned so much about the importance of freshly roasted and ground coffee, too. This book is also a huge tribute to the importance and courage of NYC's firemen! If you like this arson whodunnit, read books by Brooklyn's Shelly Reuben.
