disappointing quick, mini-flashes of inspiration, but mostly just cheese, poor acting and special effects. This would be more suited to the anime world. Somehere in this big pile of convoluted crap is a possible idea.

The screen is very busy but also stunning. Take the overdramatic elements of Japanese films and mix with cinematography of The Matrix, explosions of the Transformer movies and B&W lighting style of Citizen Kane. We have a super hero action movie with a "What have we learned?" lesson at the end mixed with love and other emotions. I was overwhelmed but younger audiences with electronic device induced short attention spans should be able to keep up. Visually very good. The story is hard to buy into.

I started watching this but gave up about a third of the way through. When it got to a battle scene it was like their intention was to induce a seizure. The story also seemed to be taking a while to develop. I may revisit this again later on since I'm a fan of the anime, but right now I'm shelving it.
