Because Survivor is on TV! History Bites is a skit comedy show that explores the premise, "What if television had been around for the past 5000 years?" Each episode channel surfs through a particular day in history and the result is a history lesson hidden inside a clever spoof of TV. Black death was the greatest disaster in European History. The year is 1349 A.D. and the bubonic plague is sweeping the continent. What if television had been there to cover this momentous story? There would be news, weather, sports, plus ads for all the latest plague cures. And of course because life goes on, there are medieval game shows, soap operas, and comedy programs. Join us and go channel surfing in the Middle Ages.
