The Chorale Saint-Jean from Edmonton is invited to take part in festivities organized for Quebec Citys 400th anniversary. Together in Harmony captures the choirs unforgettable journey back to the motherland. This charming and touching story is interspersed with interviews with conductor Laurier Fagnan, lyricist-composer France Levasseur-Ouimet and other people involved with this talented choir. Both poignant and charming, the film shows that French outside Quebec doesnt necessarily have a bleak future. Indeed, not only is Franco-Albertan culture surviving, but it is also enriching our countrys heritage. This short documentary was produced as part of the Tremplin competition, which enables young French Canadians living outside Quebec to put together their first film in a professional environment.
