A magic box of yarn allows a girl to bring color to her town as she knits sweaters or hats for everything alive - or not! One day a jealous royal arrives & tries to steal it....

Same team of author & illustrator have another great book annoy brothers digging an interesting deep hole.

I love this book so much. It's about kindness and generosity without being mawkish. It's funny in a quiet way. The illustrations are lovely and also quietly funny.

One of my favourite picture books about the magic of kindness. It works great as a class read aloud too because the students love to chime in about Annabelle still having "extra yarn." Klassen is also one of my favourite illustrators, so this book is just a win all around for me.

This is a strange little book but something about it just really worked for me.
