Loved it! Well written, great sense of the social mores of the times, historically well researched, very believable protagonist, and fantastic side characters, a solid plot. Looking forward to another one of his!

I just discovered this author by accident and highly reccommend his work. The life and times during the Civil War and his romantic attitude is incredible. I read all of his books with a pen at hand to record his thoughts. And this is all wrapped around mystery and the Civil War. I wait for a new treasure from his pen.
