Join obnoxious regional manager Michael Scott (Steve Carell) and his fellow paper pushers Dwight (Rainn Wilson), Jim (John Krasinski), Pam (Jenna Fischer) and Ryan (B.J. Novak) as they steal customers, frame co-workers, indulge in intra-office love affairs and just plain behave badly while a documentary film crew captures their every word and misdeed. Developed for American television by Primetime Emmy Award-winner Greg Daniels, The Office: Season Five features 26 uproarious episodes - including two one-hour specials, exclusive commentaries, webisodes, deleted scenes and more in a sidesplitting five-disc collection no true fan of The Office can afford to miss!"--Container.

I’d like to start off by saying three words: Holly and Michael. Holly, being the new Human Resources person in the office, after Toby left (to much of Michael’s relief). I have to say, I really didn’t think that Michael, the highly inappropriate boss, would find someone so perfect for him! They really are a perfect pair. But alas, everything good must come to an end… right? Speaking of a perfect pair, Jim and Pam are still going strong, and I really couldn’t ask for anything better! Andy, as usual, is always showcasing his talent for singing and playing the banjo… which adds some fun to the series. And Dwight… oh Dwight. Personally a favourite character of mine, he’s basically his own show: Dwight K. Shrute, Beet Farm Manager and Top Salesman at Dunder Mifflin Paper & Co. But again, I cannot express the whole cast and crew has an amazing way of expressing themselves throughout this show and the realistic representations of their lives really astounds me! Again, a totally binge worthy season @thesoundofcolours of the Teen Review Board at the Hamilton Public Library

Season 5. Perhaps the best season the show has ever seen (although personally, I prefer season 9. I know, I know. I’m sorry!). I’m sure at this point you’ve heard of the iconic Kevin’s chili moment? Well, that’s this season. The legendary first aid course scene? Yep, that’s here too. Perhaps even the lesser-known Cafe Disco? You got it. So many of the show’s greatest moments take place in this season, and the characters are absolutely in full swing. The Jim and Pam storyline progresses, but so do Kelly, and Meredith, and Phyllis, and Andy. It’s definitely a fun-filled season. It seems to take itself a little less seriously than before, and that allows some of the sillier sides of the characters to show. I absolutely love Season 5, and I hope you do too.
