Sophie is a smart girl and is curious. The BFG snatches her in the witching hour. the BFG takes Sophie to his cave.there friendship grows.I have read this many times I think it is a phenomenal book.
Politically incorrect book? Debatable.
Imaginative? Oh, yes.
Mocked British armed forces? Of course! Author also sugarcoated Great Britain's waning military state by using helicopters instead of transport planes.

I really liked this book. I really liked the big friendly giant because he gave kids good dreams. The land where the giants live is really neat, because of the tall hills. It was a super fun read.
