The BFG by Roald Dahl is another classic for elementary school students that is a perfect example of Roald Dahl’s vivid imagination when writing his children’s books. The story is about a little girl named Sophie who is abducted by a BFG–a…

The BFG is a novel showing a young orphan girl named Sofie and a giant called BFG. Unlike other giants, BFG is gentle and distributes dreams to children instead of eating them like the others. The story showcases the adventures of Sofie…

This book is a classic written by the late, great Roald Dahl. The BFG, or Big Friendly Giant, is one of my favorite books of all time and really helped me find a love for reading. It starts with an orphaned girl being unable to sleep in…

Not one of my very favorite one of Dahl's but still very worthwhile. Charming and funny, as well as a lot of kindness and wordplay.

Read the book before the movie! It's good, a perfect choice for people that are in single digits. Roald Dahl's books are worth the attention. You like Roald Dahl? This book might just be for you.

The BFG by Roald Dahl is such a nice novel. I was first introduced to Roald Dahl by my sister, and I am so grateful for that because he was a major part of my childhood! The BFG was great - even though it is for children, I enjoy reading…

I loved this story when I was younger. Re-reading it as an adult I enjoyed the language as much as when I was a child. Perhaps it was the time in which Dahl wrote the novel but I was disappointed by some of the characterizations: the…

Politically incorrect book? Debatable. Imaginative? Oh, yes. Mocked British armed forces? Of course! Author also sugarcoated Great Britain's waning military state by using helicopters instead of transport planes. Surprised on Queen…

I really liked this book. I really liked the big friendly giant because he gave kids good dreams. The land where the giants live is really neat, because of the tall hills. It was a super fun read.
