Just as good, if not even better, than the first volume in the collection! The short one off story in the middle of this volume might be one of my favorite comic stories period.

A mere mortal becomes the focus of dreams at a convention of serial killers. While it can stand alone, it makes more sense if you have read Preludes and Nocturnes first. A fantastic read, and part of my favorite graphic novel series.

Neil Gaiman’s first major success was as a writer of comic books, especially this unique blend of folklore, mythology, fantasy, and horror in the long-running series, *The Sandman.* Originally published as individual comic book issues,…

Gaiman's dramatic writing continues to impress. I liked how this volume had a much stronger central story arc compared to the first book.

Very good book. Combines to form a greater whole with the first one. I am looking forward to completing the rest of the series.

The second book in this series is just as good as the first one. It is a creepy book filled with creepy and sad stories. But still so very, very good

Harder to follow than its predecessor, but its story was original and intriguing. At times it felt like there were too many perspectives going on at once.

I thought this one was just ok. While Morpheus continues to prove that he's super freakin' awesome, too many random events kinda distract from the story. =/ Though I really liked the different kinds of characters Gaiman created and added…

If I had to choose just one volume of Sandman comics to epitomize the series, this is the one. Smart and dark and brilliant and funny and sad and everything else you could want Neil Gaiman to be.

Volume two of the Sandman series is where things start to get interesting. One thing I've noticed is that many issues have a different artist so the layouts often look varied. The writer Neil Gaiman has introduced a lot of off-beat…

A series of vertigo, almost interconnected stories that proves yet again how wonderful Neil Gaiman's writing is.

A good collection and the developments in this book I believe are very important to the rest of the series. I like the creepy Corinthian as well as "Men of Good Fortune."
