Just as good, if not even better, than the first volume in the collection! The short one off story in the middle of this volume might be one of my favorite comic stories period.

A mere mortal becomes the focus of dreams at a convention of serial killers. While it can stand alone, it makes more sense if you have read Preludes and Nocturnes first. A fantastic read, and part of my favorite graphic novel series.

The second book in this series is just as good as the first one.

If I had to choose just one volume of Sandman comics to epitomize the series, this is the one. Smart and dark and brilliant and funny and sad and everything else you could want Neil Gaiman to be.

A good collection and the developments in this book I believe are very important to the rest of the series. I like the creepy Corinthian as well as "Men of Good Fortune."
